Environmental standards
We operate in accordance with the environmental standards and environmental license issued by the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Physical Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology.
Our business operations are harmonized with ISO 14001:2015 standard, defining the requirements for environmental management, needed for the compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the fulfillment of expectations of relevant stakeholders, as well as for the elimination, reduction and control of those operational aspects that might have a negative impact on the environment.
We care about nature
Apart from the aforesaid, in identifying and assessing various aspects of our business, the Refinery addresses the following environment-related issues:
- Air emissions
- Discharges to water
- Discharges to land
- Utilization of resources (water, electricity, raw material and the like) and the hazardous situations
